Hi all, I'm currently TTC, it's CD 25. I was silly and tested last night on a preg test that went out of date in 2006. Of course it was negative, but now I'm sure I'm not pregnant. I'm going to give it 2 weeks and assuming AF doesn't arrive will test again. It will be my second so I thought I recognised symptoms lol!

    Hi all,

Have been lurking for quite a while now and finally thought I'd take the plunge and post.

I've been married to DH since Oct 08 and TTC all of that time. I'm 33, he is 42 and we have no children. I had endometriosis in the past which was treated for 6 months and I believe it's all clear at present but the months are running by and there just doesn't seem to be any signs of that BFP. (I tried for over 2 years previously some years ago too)

My cycles are around 26/27/28 days mostly. We are on month two of our CBFM and I'm a little bit in love with it!

We're good at being upbeat and DH is so supportive - especially when the tears flow. My friends seem to get pregnant without being in the same room as their partners.

CD3 today and will be away on hols for OV this month, so I'm quietly optomistic but can't keep convincing myself each month, only to be disappointed.

Anyway, just wondered if I can join in and count on all your support. You all seem incredibly brave.

    Cheers guys.

I'm trying to fill in my CRB form and worrying about having my driving license revoked 4 years ago, know I've got to disclose it but I'm worrying if it's going to stop me doing what I want to:confused:

I already feel I've been lied to by the job centre as I asked about a second reference for the application form and they've told me my soon to be MIL is fine to use as we arent related yet:eek:

Madmac- Nice or Nurse? Am definitely nurse and strive to be nice! I'm one of those big-hearted paediatric kind... which means I meet babies by the dozen, for a living, eek!

I see, well then yes a nice_nursie, unlike the witches I met when hospitalised last year! Good to know they aren't all like that :rotfl:

Nunnygirl, I wouldn't worry about using your MIL, sounds OK to me. Do you think your driving issue will go against you, or are you just concerned about putting it on the CRB form? I'm sure you won't be the first or the last to have to do just that, so don't fret too much hun, x

It's all done now and in the envelope ready to send in the morning :T:T

Nursing is what I'm trying to get into. Mum's an RNMH but I want to get into adult nursing. Wanted to do paediatrics but decided against it about a month ago, I don't know why.

I hope the driving thing won't go against me, but having my license revoked for getting 6 points due to driving with no insurance is not good

Well, the driving isn't a pivotal skill to the job so I doubt they could count that against you with good reason - so fingers crossed for your application. How exciting!
