Welcome kampercat - sorry to hear about the m/c
Madmac good to hear from you, sorry you are feeling down - its hard to imagine when you always sound cheery to me in your posts.
polkadot I can't believe bus drivers are so rude to you - well done for standing your ground. I'm sure in Sheffield they are friendlier than other places - when I lived in Coventry they'd drive off whilst you were still trying to get on
CAFCGirl I'm with you on the CBFM being too expensive, I can't stand anything that you have to keep paying for (payg mobile for me!). Then again I'm so bad I don't want to buy OV strips or a thermometer (unless I can find a 'normal' one which is sensitive enough to use for BBT)Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
Smartie - I'm sure you'll be more than OK when the baby arrives, you'll love it ... it'll probably make you more "broody" but that's perfectly normal and won't stop you from loving it. Don't let it get you down, it will happen for you. And now I feel like an old timer because I remember you saying you felt left out!
Madmac - good to see you post, take your time, I hope you feel better soon. xxx
Polkadot - I can't believe that bus driver treated you like that, good on you for lodging a complaint.
Hello Kamperkat :hello: sorry to hear about your recent loss, you're in good hands here and good luck with your ttc.
LeopardLady - good luck for monday (or later if you decide)!
Well, CD27 and it's my turn to crack open the bottle of red tonight (ok so i've already started it:D). Not surprised in the slightest, in fact I was so sure it was coming that I bought my wine and choc on the way home in preparation! I feel fine about it, i think partly because i was expecting it (even though that cruel part of my brain still hoped:rolleyes:) but mainly because i am soooo looking forward to our weekend away - it's our first weekend in my parents' new static caravan. And getting AF now means it won't be even slightly marred by "wondering" if it will arrive or not. It does mean no rocking caravan for us though!:rotfl:
I've treated myself to new ov sticks and a bbt thermometer so i'll be joining the temping gang, how sad that i get really excited by a) buying shiny new things off t'internet and b) learning more about my body.
Huge amounts of sticky baby dust heading everybody's way. Have a happy weekendXXXXXXXXX

Hi all,
Just popping in to let you know tha my follow up scan confirmed what we had already guessed, another mc. The foetus has not changed in size since last week, though the sac has grown, I'm going for another D&C on Tuesday. I really now want tha all out of the way so we can get back to TTC, hopefully it will be third time lucky0 -
Catw0man - I'm so sorry, must be awful. I hope to see you back on here soonProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0

Catwoman - I know you were suspecting it, but I am so sorry - sending loads of hugs your way.
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

CatwOman - I'm so sorry. I really had my fingers crossed for you. You sound so positive and considering the time of things you've had I think you're bloody brave. When you do get your sticky bean, that bean is going to be so lucky to get such a strong mama like you.
*Hugs*

Twinklie - looks like we're a day apart now? Does that make us cycle buddies? Who else has just got AF and can join us?0 -
Anyone remember me getting upset a little while ago about my friend who announced her pregnancy on facebook? I bumped into her on wednesday (out for pizza & film 241 courtesy of orange
) and had a chat - she's lovely btw and is looking great. Just been chatting to her OH on facebook (who is btw my ex! long time ago and we're friends now) and invited myself round to see baby when born - 5 months away but want to show my interest!!:D
Must go to bed now got to be fresh as a daisy tomorrow which means i should have been in bed an hour ago:rolleyes:
Nighty night.xxx0 -
Emmzy can you come to my house please? DF being on leave was supposed to help me get sorted...not make it worse.
Smartie so glad you’re spending more time with your friend.
CAFCGirl you have to buy the sticks separately...I think you do get a first batch with your monitor. The sticks are about £10 at boots. I think some others here get their sticks cheaper on ebay (could someone else help?) I cant help about the price of the monitor because mines a hand me down.
Oops Becs got there first...but I have to agree about seeing the reading
Maddie you made me giggle, you sound just like our family (spread all over Sheffield and Barnsley), although I’ve never used a bus there because granddad likes to walk.
Cat I’m so sorry hun. I know you were expecting it but its still hard-you’re braver than I am and I admire you for how you’ve handled it. Lots of prayers with you for the D & C. And OF COURSE it’ll be third time lucky-it just HAS to be.
Gena well done you. I love the quip about your friends OH being your ex. My ex is my DF’s best friend (and will be best man when we find the time to get married) I lived with him for a year and then one day on holiday he packed us up and drove me home. I didn’t know where to, but when we got to DF’s house he hauled me out the car. When DF answered the door my ex looked at us both and said-I’ve had enough, I love you both but I’d be a darn sight happier if you were both happier-so don’t come looking for me until you sort yourselves out. Then he left all my bags on the drive and left. He moved to England two months after DF did because he didn’t do life very well without his mate-and now he spends every Christmas with us.0
