Twinklie - sorry to hear it was a BFN. Hopefully AF won't come.
Smartie - that's awful. I think I can be a little free and easy when it comes to internet shopping and telephone orders etc. It's reminded me to be a little more vigilant. Hope you get it sorted.
CD 5 for me and I think CBFM will prompt me to start POAS tomorrow. DH and I have decided it's time to go to GP, but I'm so reluctant to pick up the phone... also, I don't want it to interfere with our fertile days. Stupid, I know. We're closer than ever in terms of our relationship and it's gorgeous, but getting that BFP seems so unattainable somehow.
I was treated for endometriosis about 9 years ago and it just brings back awful memories of having to go through the whole gynae process again. Sorry for the moan, just a down day I guess.
On a lighter note, fish and chips for tea and comfy clean PJs in front of telly - not a bad way to spend the evening!:cool:0 -
Can i ask you how long you have been trying nursie? I made an appointment with the gp and then cancelled it the next day. I am being told by FF to test tomorrow as on CD25 already and the last 2 months have been 25 days long, but before that 29, so not sure, i may well piap tomorrow am, but expecting bfn, although hoping i am wrong.
Enjoy your night in front of the tv

Leopardlady 11 months this time, which I know isn't very long in terms of some of you guys. I had a previous marriage in my 20s and I tried for 2 years then without ever falling pg. Ex-OH left me for another woman and they fell pg straight away. It's the psychological impact of that that triggers bad memories to seek help I think?
We have discussed at length and we would never go down the IVF route, partly for religious reasons. But we don't want to think about adoption until we know if there's some minor medical intervention, or preferably it just "happens" all by itself.
I completely acknowledge that most of you guys have had it much tougher than we have but we're getting on now... maybe it's time to act.
Please test soon LL, I've been hopeful for you for ages. You really stand out on this board as a strong person.
My cycles are also about 25 days at present. Feels like they meet in the middle!
I've everything crossed for you, yes, everything!0 -
Hi Smartie - actually it was good (not very MSE - total day cost me £25!), I hadn't been for years and my daughter loved it. It helped that it was such a nice day, but there seemed to be lots to do.
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

T4B that is a bit iffy. Does she know that you are ttc though? I have a friend who found out she was pg just after my mc.It came out on the phone and then after she sent me a text saying she was so grateful to have a friend like me.She didn't think I would take the news well. Maybe your OH's family worried about the same...woman are sensitive, emotional beings, men less so. Perhaps she though it might be easier for your OH to tell you the news?
Polkadot, your friend sounds lovely.. but this lady is miles from her.. nooooooobody knows we are TTC, so she has no reason to not tell me..i know she talks to everyone else in the fam but i was made such an outcast by my in-laws that everyone on their side got funny with me, it will not be the same, but i though we were all over that!!hey ho that is how the cookies crumbles!!
ETA: My approval letter came this morning for my freedom pass. Im so excited. Now I am completely prepared for the new bub when it arrives-I had been slightly concerned about being put off busses with two kids as its been tough enough with just one (and I'm pertified of driving in London), but now I have proof that I am disabled as well as a mum so I shouldnt be put off any more:)
I'm collecting it tomorrow morning.
:T:T good stuff!! i was once on a bus and there were 2 buggies already on the bus and the driver said no to another lady... i felt ever so bad cos we had been waiting over 45mins for it..
i am killing myself over my phd.. Leopardlady.. think very carefully, if it is truly going to enhance your career do it.. if not it is a lot of stress!! in my case i couldnt go further without it.. :mad:0 -
T4B Onwards and upwards. Another close friend of mine in SA has just had a baby after 4 years of ttc. Prior to baby, she was working for her dad-and her 21st gift was a townhouse in a very upmarket suburb. Her husband still works for her dad. He got remarried just before bub was born and the stepmum has muscled in on her job. Her dad has been to see the baby twice in two months. But my friend has made the decision that she has her own little family now and is getting on without them. They will come around or she will be better off without them. I went through the same thing with my family and now that Im in England they all brag about me and say how dearly they miss me.
I've waited 45 minutes for a bus very often-and been put off of a bus for a wheelchair...literally..."I dont have time to wait for you to knock your buggy down, theres another bus right behind" (yeah it would be if it weren't running 15 minutes late).I even had to dial 999 once because it was pouring rain and my hip dislocated as I was trying to get to the door of a bus as I slipped. everyone else just shunted past me to get on the bus-I was on the floor behind DS' buggy and couldn't do a thing. Thankfull he wasn't swept away from me in the rush.0 -
AH Gymfriend it sounds like you're experiencing pretty much what I expect to happen! My endo is absoloutely awful! It's like pulling teeth trying to gain any insight ir info about it! My optician said I should have a full foeld of vision test now it's been diagnosed and he couldn't believe endo hadn't organised it. He's never even mentioned it. I'm a bit funny with drugs, if something doesn't seem to be causing any problems and seems to be doing what it's supposed to (bring down levels) then I tend to stick with it incase other drugs are not as good. I do need to arrange another blood test though as haven't had levels checked since May. No other news other than still here plodding away! It's been a difficult month for dh and I to muster the enthusiasm for it as it's been so long. I hope you have more luck with the hospital endo. Good luck and keep me posted!0

OMG:eek: polkadot.. i would have sworn blind at him for being late and then saying no and complained to the manager..i geuss i am lucky as i get on at a bus station so managers always around! there was once a lady who said can i take my buggy in the back door, and then swipe my oyster? the bus driver said no do it now and then go out back.. of course she did not want to step in and leave the buggy outside. he said no again, so i got up, took her card and swiped it and gave it back.. smile at the bus driver too!!
sorry for all your troubles..but yes onward and upward!!:T
becs and gymfiend keep going and dont give up..pretty please..xx0 -
