Trying For a Baby III

Had a bit of a disappointment today.
Noticed my last AF was brown no red, but thought nothing of it (new to this), was catching up on this thread this morning and read brown is old and some have brown AF when first pregnant. So got very excited, woke hubby up and I tested he made me tea and toast while we waited, it was negative cant tell you how disappointed we both were.
Onwards and upwards now..
Just wanted to get it off my chest still brooding on it all...0 -
Twinklie thanks for that, i shall try my hardest to clear the decks for you! :rotfl:
CAFC when I was ov'ing cd18-20 we would start smep around cd14.
Ah Penny sorry for you bfn, our bodies all are very different. TTC gets us all crazy and looking for the signs we so desperately want. I will confess I have even done a test after af has arrived because I didn't believe it! Even now I have to really give myself a good talking to each month to not let my heart overule my head. Hugs to you and try and look forward to next month.0 -
Penny35- I know how you feel. We've only starting TTC about a month or so ago and last month I was absolutely convinced that we had hit the jackpot. I started spotting on 19/07 and it was dark and only lasted a day and no more bleeding after that. Coupled with me feeling sick and feeling exhausted I put two and two together and got... a BFN.
I took two tests and then succumbed and took another at the beginning of this week and still BFN so can only assume it was a bit of a blip in my cycle. I was so disappointed.
The really funny/weird thing is that since then I've been losing weight and I've not altered my diet or upped my gym visits.
AF is due, I estimate, around mid August so we'll see how that goes. OH is away this weekend and this is the optimum time for us so I'll prob have to wait until September now.
Onwards and upwards as they say.

Hello all. I'm a newbie to this thread. I just wanted to query if anyone has conceived after a tubal ligation using IVF or other fertility treatment.
I have looked into the costing of IVF and the % chance of conceiving at my age. Obviously, I have the added difficulty of a tubal ligation against me. It would give me a positive feeling if there are others in the same boat as I am
Thanks0 -

Hi girls!
Aw sorry to hear af has arrived smartie, wishing you lots of luck for next month.
Well done on the trial snugglepants!:T
I've had mild cramps today, kind of feel like I do just before af. I'm so confused cos I'm either 9dpo (if I ov early like I think) or 2po. Shouldn't be feeling like af is going to arrive now surely?
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
TMI alert !!
I feel like this every time i ovulate (i dont test but the feeling is so strong ive no need to !) which is worse since coming off the pill.
this last time I got typical af pains combined with quite a low feeling in my *ahem* foof sort of like a mild pressure. its not usually too bad and lasts a day or 2 at the most. other times i feel like im like the princess and the pea and i can trace every slight movement
its sounds really mad now ive written it down but up until i started following this thread i kind of thought everyone got cramps and could feel when they ovulated
big hugs to smartie and confuzzled,
