Huge labour at home vibes to suzy
Glam - argos just changed catalogues - i do hope the for sale set hasnt gone
Tigster - Keep posting i find your posts informative and helpful.
SJ - i had an early scan to check becuase of bleeding - then i had my 12 week scan as they saw the early scan as the additional one - they wanted to check the baby specifically at 12 weeks (is it nuchal fold or something). In my hosp it is in a completely seperate scanning department to epu so i wasnt takeing up anyones appointment in my case. I think hospitals vary across the country.
Also i wanted to say different medical professionals told me different things which can be a bit worrying during the early stages. We will scan you / no we wont (at 8 weeks), its too late to have your anti d injection / we dont do them untill 28 weeks. I think everyone has differing opinions on the guidelines (no-one ness wrong - lol). Just try and take everything as it comes - it will settle as you get to know midwives / consultants / etc0 -

I seriously hope no-one else buys us any outfits. I made OH tell MIL yday not to buy anymore because he has enough outdfits for 4 changes a day and that it wouldn't get worn. Whether she will take any notice is another thing!
A part from getting a few items of clothing that are either boy or girl once i have given birth we also have tons of clothes. i have plenty of unisex ones that will do for the first few months, i know mil has also bought some unisex outfits. If it is another boy we still have everything from ds as we got so many clothes as gifts a few were even the same outfits. unless it is a girl i don't want a load more doesn't that sound ungreatful but ds's baby clothes are still very nice as some i am sure he never even wore. The difference this time is i will be having a winter baby. There is much more things i would like as gifts instead of tons of clothes but how do i say this without sounding cheeky and ungreatful?
I have gave my mother and mother in law a few hints like when they asked what i had and needed i said well we need to get a new matteress for the cot bed, some new bedding and pram toys would be nice to get etc but i don't think they were asking for ideas, but by the time they have bought this and that over the months and put it away to keep untill the birth i bet they spend the same money on clothes as the other things cost. This is my signature!0 -
elasti - it was a good idea of yours to list the prams/pushchairs. Amazing that we've had no duplicates yet!
me and xmaslolly have the same but different colours!!Tigsteroonie wrote: »[strike]Damn[/strike] Glad you found it:p:D:D

Back from midwife appointment. Blood pressure was a little high and she had to take it 3 times. Never had that before! It's always been fine first time.
She repeated again several times to the student midwife that baby was a "good size". "Nothing to worry about there, it's not going to be a wee titch" etc!!! I really hope it's not going to be massive though! Head is still down, but not engaged yet she said. In fact, she had trouble locating the head, so I hope I not giving birth to headless baby!
Kindof - we have this cotbed (Cosatto Hogarth). It's really sturdy and looks nice too (IMO).
Elasti - hope you feel better soon. Take it easy, and make sure OH takes over the child minding when he gets home from work to give you a break!0 -
Forget football kits, where can I get Beanie a "My First F1 Overall" outfit? (Bet if I google, I'll find one!)
Glam, am I right in thinking your family hasn't ordered the £99 Argos set yet? I'm pretty sure it's gone now, can't find on the website at all, I thought it was an end-of-last-catalogue offer.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

And I did. Well, a vest anyway, from the Ferrari team! Shame, I'm not a Ferrari supporter ... Guess I'll have to wait until Beanie is old enough for McLaren overalls :rotfl::heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
