    hey bumpy ladies,

I ended up rushing back into hospital at 2am this morning with yet another bleed, have been tricling fresh blood ever since so i'm they're keeping an eye on me, if the bleeding gets worse then i have to go for an emergency c-section today and if it stays as is then i get to stick to my planned one tomorrow. I'm top of the list for tomorrow (its afternoon surgery though) so just got to make the small person sit tight for at least another 24 hours!! Please please please keep your fingers crossed because i don't want to have this baby in a panic and emergency situation, sticking with my nice planned c-section would be lovely.

I did have a quick catch up before posting:

Nicki- hope things are ok with your DD, my thoughts are with you!

Tia- Hope the section went well and 6lb 15oz!! Thats a really good weight!

Suzy - things aren't going well for you either are they! Hope you're ok.

    Natalie85 - Congratulations!! Lovely name!

Jolene - welcome to the thread and congratulations on the pregnancy!

Glam - well done on what sounds like a perfect mw appt

God i'm glad I have the dongle this time so i can get online, the internet and my web preggo friends will keep me sane i hope!

fingers & toes crossed that he stays in please! (that means bumps must cross theirs too, we need all the good vibes we can get!)

  • hi all! :hello:
i havent posted much recently but im here lurking pretty much all day every day.

    congratulations Natalie and Tia!

Hypno - me and bump have fingers crossed for you!

i had my 34 week mw appt this morning, everything is fine but baby is breech, ive to go back in 2 weeks and if he still hasnt turned i will be sent for a scan and i wont be able to have my home birth. i really hope he turns, im going to have a look at ways to help turn him in a bit. my floors will be spotless by the time im 36 weeks! im sure someone has mentioned that they can try to turn him manually too but the midwife didnt say anything about that. i dont think my midwives are very pro home birth, the one i saw today made out that it was a big deal for them to come out and do a homebirth assessment as they are so busy! she also said i can only have him at home after 38 weeks, im sure for everyone else on here it was 37 weeks?

Hypno - sending lots of stay put vibes to your little un! Hang in there huni and all the best for tomorrow (just in case I don't manage to get on!)

I'm still waiting for the MW to call for little mans 10 day check. She has been early both times before, but because we've got plans for this afternoon she's not arrived yet

ETA: She turned up just as I posted :D

I am keeping everything firmly crossed and clenched for you Hypno. I guess though even if they do decide to do the section today, it will still be more like a planned one than an emergency one, in that you won't be in labour or having contractions, and there should be time to do it via epidural rather than GA if that's what you wanted. Still not as good as having it tomorrow, but better than a full on labour and emergency IYKWIM. So glad you got your insurance situation sorted out a few days ago though - at least you aren't desparately trying to get someone on the phone from your hospital bed.

Situation with DD is still tense - but at least the senior people who need to be aware of the problem have been contacted (a big part of the problem is that they are all away on holiday at the moment) so there are moves to resolve the problem, even though it isn't sorted yet.

Am off to see the psych in about half an hour. Bizarrely the situation with DD has driven thoughts of the birth into the background over the last few days. I'm still in a state of high anxiety and not sleeping or eating properly but for a different reason! Ho hum - he can only think I am completely bonkers rather than just a little bit!

Fab news about Tia. I didn't want to post proper congrats until she gets a chance to come on and post her news for herself, but if she's reading this and catching up before she posts herself - Yippeee!

And good luck vibes to Suzy too.
