Happy scan, Elasti!
Wow, Beenie, that's one serious update! Can't believe we are up to March already!!!
Sounds like a few of us need some hugs this morning, me included. My little boy got himself wedged right up at the top of my tum yesterday and my god have I had 24 hours of discomfort, hardly slept last night and was so nauseous. OH made me take the day off today with strict instructions to do nothing. Fortunately, he's back in a more comfy position now (little one, not OH, he'll be having "fun" at the office and probably not comfy at all!) but my stomach must have got so stretched, it's still sore! I need to up my pain threshold a lot over the next 17 weeks me thinks!
Does a day internet shopping count as doing nothing?!
God, mine does this all the time! Really catches my breath when he moves right up and I think to myself 'If you're up there where the hell are my internal organs?'Repeat anomaly on Friday @2pm :j
I've already put my pink icon in on the basis that she wouldn't have said anything if she really couldn't see anything, but i'll get them to check again. They couldn't see all the heart vessels and some parts of spine because i hadn't drank enough water, hopefully that's nothing to worry about though?!
My sister had to have a repeat anomaly because they couldn't see the heart - she never drinks enough water! At second scan it was all fine. She's now got to have a GTT and reckons that because I've got GD she'll have it (she always has to copy me!) but we have different mums and it's my mum that's got the history of it!
Lou - be naughty! Your pregnant your allowed! I nipped into reception earlier and popped some sweets into my mouth without even thinking about itA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Beenie - I am sure it's nothing to worry about. Just make sure you drink loads this time until you are ready to burst!
Hi Always! Hope you feel better and take it easy. Internet shopping is therapy.
Wonder how Suzy is getting on and if she has had baby yet. Off to make a bit of toast for breakfast (or cereal for calcium!).0 -
I know!!!
I keep missing you as we seem to be on at different times! Can't believe you have finished work and I still have another 2 weeks left :rolleyes:You have only 8 days and 1.5 hours left now!!!27 1/2 working days left at work. Not fair!
Rang the doctors this morning, because finally had enough of this heartburn. Yes you can have an appointment with the doctor on
18th August.. No, no, no, No! They will put a query through to the doctor for gaviscon, said no, no, no again "does not work". Have to ring back after 12pm to see if i can be prescribed something else.
Pathetic am so not impressed. I can ring OH's doctors and get him an appointment within 1/2 an hour if needed. Only moved to this doctors because it was right near to DS's school and within walking distance from home, work and the school, if i didn't have the car. Once this baby is here i am definately changing back.
Too late, but good luck again to Sugar, and stronger labour vibes this time to Carla and Suzy.0 -
Hi always, how is your bump? Is it looking big yet??
Everyone who comments says not, I only really started showing a couple of weeks ago and I seem to have lost weight from my hips which is puzzling but being all tum is no bad thing for me as I had enough everywhere else before! Why did nowhere in south London have size 12 maternity trousers in stock at the weekend?! So still in my fally down size 14 ones - well, technically still in pj's :rotfl:lazy cow that I am!0 -
wm - can you not go through your MW? *shrug*top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
:xmassmile Mummy to Finn - 12/09; Micah - 08/12! :j0 -
I think i just look fat, but a few people i've spoken to say i 'look pregnant'. But they knew i was so they would say that!! But my jelly belly is just considerably larger than it was before
I'm living in leggings, i bought some over the bump jeans but my bump isn't big enough for them yet and they feel weird so not wearing them.0 -

That is disgusting and not in line with government targets that say patients have to be offered an appointment within 48 hours AND have the option to book up to 4 weeks in advance.
Ring back and if you don't get anywhere, ask for the practice manager and complain.
We have appointments available every day!
Aless - I'm not sure if the MW's can authorise anything stronger.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Am i right in thinking you are at St georges as well !! , It's just have scan next week and last time just before i went in they asked they asked me to go to the loo , so now i wondering if i need a full bladder or not !! Thank you.Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -

LOL! Mine were very nearly in the toilet!
If the scan last week was anything to go by and also the movements I feel, I think he has his back out most of the time so when he moves, my stomach gets really stretched. Also I think I hardly feel him some days because he must be kicking inwards - does that sound right?! Also I am only just under 23 weeks and we know from the scan that he is right at the bottom of the growth charts for my dates so they must only be gentle kicks now. I did start feeling him about 16 weeks which I think was quite early tho.
mmm, think I messed up the quote button there, oops!0 -
God WM - 18th August! That's terrible. I didn't think there was any point in calling my docs as sure my leg will be better by the time I get an appointment, but mine would be 1 week at most I think. That's no good!
Only 12 days of work left for me! Assuming I am fit to return tomorrow.0
