Fitzio; are you doing stretches for your cramp?
I had hideous cramp with Chris, so bad I had all the tests for DVT because of the constant pain and lump  the thing that saved me this time was doing stretches everyday and never ever under any circumstances pointing my toes!
THESE are the kind of stretches I did, also keep hydrated and make sure you're eating enough potasium, magnesium and calcium as they are important for healthy muscle contractions :)

:( i dont think ive ever seen a west mids lady on here i'm from dudley in the midlands. There are plenty of preggers ladies round here so where they all hiding lol :-)
I'm based in Reading (so close-ish to Windsor!!) and I'm 31....haven't posted much so far as usually too busy with work and the thread goes too quickly.....but might have more of a chance in the next few weeks to post as boss has gone on holiday for 3 weeks and has left me sod all to do!!

Hypno knows I am from Henley so am local to her, glad to see a Reading girl on here too! We should have a meet.

Charlton - I'm originally from the West Mids if that counts? I was born in Coventry and grew up in Droitwich. My OH lived in worcester till we got married last year too. Our parents still live in Droitwich.

Hmm, meant to also quote person talking about working out birth weight. The half a pound a week thing is not necessarily worth going by. Lilia was estimated at 5.5lbs at 37 weeks, so by that she should have been 7lbs when born but she was 6lbs 3oz (around what we expected based on family birth weights). Better to go by what is normal in both families IMO as babies grow at different rates.

I am going to brave the parents' thread today! Will still read and post here if it's OK cos I would miss you all otherwise, but as Lilia is nearly 2 weeks old now I really ought to accept I am a parent not pregnant any more!

WE have had a rough couple of days with her - she's been very fractious and not sleeping but we think it was a growth spurt. She was feeding loads and not sleeping, and unsettled, but apparently it's around the time of a spurt which either makes them sleep all the time or makes them a bit miserable. Yay we got the latter!

She is asleep now though and we're having a day in bed cos we took her out again yesterday and have decided she does not like being outside the house, it seems to really upset her if she wakes up and is not at home, so no more walks for me :( Hopefully that will pass soon, plus we have a cranial sacrotherapist coming tomorrow and maybe if there are any issues to do with her skull that will sort it out.

Hope everyone is well, labour vibes and hugs for people who need them.
    xx

We've been waiting for you :D

Whats this cranio wotsit? Ed has (I think) still got an overlap of bones and I want to get it sorted but HV etc all say it'll fix itself but I don't beleive them!

PS there's about 4 midlands ladies on the parents thread so make sure you join us whoever it was that said there aren't many :)
