Well i'm back, fed and watered (or fizzy vimto'd).

Am now on to watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban. Why is the TV so carp? Nothing on until Castualty.

Tia, sometimes i think my wee smells like sugar puffs too. Thought it might come back that i had GD but nope i've not.

OH has just rang, seems sober enough. Don't usually answer phone to him when he's out because i don't want to hear from him when he is drinking. If he is actually taking it easy its a miracle. I tried to ban Stella along time ago, but i know he still sneaks a few in. He is supposed to be sticking to Fosters or Carling, or even shandy.

Poor DS has just come back in, the little lad next door is one little !!!!!!. Not a nice thing to say about a kid, i know, but he and DS just don't get in. DS has just come in and said Declan keeps saying i'm carp at football (DS loves his football and is quite good for a 5 year old) and he has just kicked me. Sent him back out, told him to stay away from him. Not having him thinking he can't play out because of that little S**t. No doubt i'll be out screaming at the kid (again) before the nights out.

You have my sympathy, that is how it is with DS1 and the little shoiute from up the back. I call him !!!!is (I doubt that will be allowed with the swear filter! Curtis, with a 'n' instead of a 'r')

    Awww Jillie (hugs)

Well I have a rogan josh and a korma turkey curry on teh hob with a double pot of bolognaise (from which I will get a spaggy bol and a large lasagne). Thought to myself, my bolognaise is awful poor looking, I'd forgotten to add the mushrooms and carrots!

Rogan josh with noodles for my dinner later :D

My BP is telling me to sit on my bum now, not even going to tell you what it was, but it would be a red trigger in hospital so off to get my feet up.

I guess my DH is the only one not attached to his underwear :rotfl:!

I missed the changing bag discussion yesterday, but I did want to add that some of you ladies might want to consider going the handmade route. Before you cringe, I would definitely check around Etsy, as there's tons and tons of cute bags on there. The MSE part is that often they are cheaper than UK retail and the shipping to the UK is usually very reasonable from Etsy sellers (unlike eBay which tends to be extortionate). I'm going to get a couple changing mats, my changing bag, some burp cloths, breast pads, etc. Plus you can feel better for supporting a home industry rather than some corporate giant ;). The added bonus is everything is one-off and usually ultra-trendy fabrics!!

Here's some sellers as an example:
    http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6173520
    http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5437870&section_id=5274910
    http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=34415

(a key tip is try several search terms & remember that Americans would say "diaper" rather than nappy)

Anyway, just something to think about ;)

Now Aless I just don't know whether to kiss you :kisses3: or tell you off:naughty:.

I am loving the bags on Etsy. Why, why, why did you show me this. Just soooo many to choose from. This site should keep me busy for hours. And become a big drain on my bank account:eek:.

wm - it's evil, isn't it? But a great site!! There's just so much on there that even if you stick to baby stuff, there's still hours of browsing :D. Just tell yourself that $35 for a nappy bag is way cheaper than most changing bags sold at John Lewis, etc which are like £30-40!

You lot are making me hungry with all your dinners! We ate early as DH is off at a work drink do right now...but we desperately need to do a shop and there's nothing to eat for evening snackies!!

Well I made it through my day at work, but the bad news is I have to go in on a day of my holidays. The cover I have arranged has fallen through, so I need to do a shift. Will take it as a day in lieu when I'm feeling desperate though so not all bad!

I too am looking for a changing bag that will go with our red pram. Don't want to spend a fortune, but want something spacious that will last. Thanks for the Etsy links, hadn't even thought of looking there but there are some gorgeous bits on there!
