    Ha!
Nope. All .0 versions of software are a big steaming pile. If you have the option, don't buy any version of Microsoft's software until the second service pack. Unfortunately Vista is a big steaming pile even after the second service pack - so I can see your concerns...

:rotfl: Ztd, I thought it was 2nd pack but cant rememeber so I guess thats roughly 6month after release is it not?

Check to see they aren't offering Win7 upgrade vouchers on all versions of Vista that are being sold from now on.
Second service pack is a good rule of thumb that was comprehensively blown apart by Vista...
IMHO Vista will suck all the way to the end...

As far as I can see there is no upgrade voucher avalible  However that may just me overlooking it. I agree vista sucks big time. Lil bro has it on his laptop and its the worst ever! Hence why I want to wait

Thanks guys, OH and sister are both complaining that I'm not giving them enough to eat well on.

Oh if they want to eat well, then direct them to this site and tell them to fill their boots. Though they will have to pay for it themselves.

But that's not food for those that are ingratious about the charity of others. This is the site for them.

"A bit sluggish" can be caused by almost anything. How many of those little icons do you have next to your clock?

Ztd it runs nothing... itunes, iternet and microsoft works. No virus/malware/spyware/trojans, never had anything wrong with it and it had memory upgrades. But in answer to your quesion 5 ~ itunes, hp digital monitoring, AVG, BT help and volume :rotfl: Seriously its just really old and being run anything up to 12hours a day I would be knackered :D

Approximately, but some versions of the OS had the service pack being put together before the main event was even released...

If you just hate Vista, if you buy certain versions of Vista, you have downgrade rights to XP.

    Oh yes it is...

If you don't get a 64 bit version of windows, you will not be able to use more than 3 Gb of your memory.

Further complications, I can't cook properly. I've got ME and get a lot of pain in my wrists when I'm peeling and chopping. I also twitch and tremble so using the hob oven is dangerous. I've decided though that the odd burn is better than having to rely on other people and eat what they want to eat all the time. And I've been making some changes - the steam fresh microwave veg, getting the GF grill machine.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
