I too am genuiney pleased for you. I am so glad that it worked out for you in a way it hasn't for me. I am still torn between trying to make it work, and wondering is it really worth all the continued rejection and isolation that I am faced with nearly everyday.
I would have loved to have had your rosey outcome, but for some it simply isn't to be.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I'm really sorry to hear it's not working out for you. Had we felt the same we would have returned to the UK no doubt. As I always said to my husband, no-one should criticise you for giving it a try.
I think we are lucky in that we both have "in demand" careers in WA, and with the savings we brought from the UK were able to furnish our rental completely. We have no outgoings other than the usual essentials (plus Foxtel and broadband:p), our car is paid before I get a penny of my salary, and our leisure time is spent with friends either at their houses for BBQ, or on the water (our friends have a boat and a jetski) which is usually a free of cheap day, we spend alot of time at the beach at the end of the road and generally don't have too many expenses. That coupled with 2 good incomes (and my hubbys wage will still increase by approx $3k a month when he gets his licence) has meant WA has been very good to us.
Think long and hard before packing up and heading back, you may never get the chance to come back. However, if life is miserable then it doesn't matter where you are - it's not the right place and there must be something better for you.;)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

I'll start a roster system:j. Accommodation is cheap - usually a couple of bottles of vino a week should cover it;).LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
