    Hi GB

Yes it was at Polmadie - and apparently it was really quiet on Sunday! Never mind.

This is the double bed from our room, so we don't mind sleeping on a mattress on the floor! Thanks anyway for the offer! :)

Have been emailing the guy back and forth re: the car. We did a "we buy any car" quote and only got £4398:eek:. A'lot less than we were expecting, but as the car is paid off its all ours. The guy is in the Army and can only offer us £4200, but I think I'm being a bit mushy as I'd rather he had the car for his family as he is returning to Afghanistan.:o

Also by the time We Buy Any Car take their fee, I'm sure it would be around that we would actually get.

Will phone Alan and see what he says.

wow your sales make mine look like a pittance :rotfl: but then i guess i haven't any furniture to sell

Well done on the car boot though! I'm a buyer not a seller at those things (even when i have a pitch unfortunately :o:rotfl:)

oh wow, car values do drop so much :( if it were me i'd give it to him as i know that is his whole bonus for going to afghan paying for it ;)

I might be slightly biased though seeing as though hubby is in army :p:D

Also - wbac have a reputation of offerring one price through an online quote and then a lower price when you get there.

I would also say go for it, but I'm a British Army Veteran, so I'm also biased. :p:D:p

Well thanks for all your feedback. The Army guy hasn't got back to me, so I've listed it on ebay.

Have just had an offer of £4400 but the guy sounds a bit dodgy so have asked that he wait until tomorrow evening to collect the car, so my hubby can be home!

Ten watchers on eBay watching the car though:j.
