Should I just man up and make an international payment with my bank and pay the £30?

I would. Some things are worth paying for the peace of mind imo.

The cheaper way seems more problematic now and it would bother me that there might be further issues down the line. (Not sure what mind, but if it doesn't go smoothly at the start, it's usually an omen. :D)

I just can't bring myself to do it when I know there is a cheaper way:eek:.

Never mind I have had to ask for more information from the recipient of the payment anyway as he didn't give enough details to arrange the payment, so means I can hang onto my cash a bit longer :D.

Oops I am mistaken - I did receive £235.64, which I assume is for the Saturday night bank shift I did on the 28th Jan where my form went missing:mad:. Still outstanding payment for one more nightshift ~ £200 still to come next Thursday then:j.

Oh and I'm bank tonight so hopefully another £200 on top of that:j:j:j. On the plus side the bank shift tonight is on my own ward, and my Manager is super efficient so at least I know my payment for this will be on time ;).

Again, the ward is nice and quiet so I have a chance to menu plan for next week and do an online shop with Sainsburys to arrive Tuesday morning. I fly home Monday night :D, so one less thing to do. Means I can get on with the housework whilst some other poor bugg@r does my shopping!

    Plans for tomorrow -

    1. Will have menu planned and "shopped" for when I get home, so don't need to do that :D
    2. Wax underarms with the Nair wax strips from the Pound Shop (ouch)
    3. Rustle up the remaining pasta with left over chicken and pesto for my housemate coming home from work after her long day.
    4. Sleep until 5pm ;)

It's a hard life - I'm feeling ever so slightly redundant as there are no letters waiting to be done because I'm super organised. Oh well, R&R it is then:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Just baked a batch of fairy cakes with the ingredients with a best before date of March I found at the back of the cupboard - feeling smug just like a real domestic goddess ;).
