Well done on getting on the show. I am assuming you aren't taking much with you if your estimate is 1k for the move. Ours was nearer 5k, but we took most of the house contents with us.

Well I don't know.............you are busy for a week or so, return to MSE and the world and their Mother are congratulating you left right and centre lol!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks to everyone lurkers and those well known, we are absolutely delighted as you can imagine:D. Have spent the last week filling in lots and lots of information and digging out all sorts of certificates and licenses. The manhunt is still on for the paper part of my driving license. This mountain of work is responsible for my absence from MSE.

Well following my email to Littlewoods the phonecalls from NDR have stopped almost immediately. Still waiting for a response from them.

Have set myself a goal - to make £2k on Ebay to pay for our one way flights. I reckon its doable, a high target but doable considering I will have all sorts to sell!

Bought an Ikea chaise longue from ebay for £60 barely used, will use this for the attic room which is eventually moving faster than a snails pace.:o

Apparently the lead time for Wanted Down Under is fairly long, its a Winter schedule programme and they expect to start series 7 around November this year. Watch out peeps! I won't see it myself as I'll be down under by then ;).

Was going to call Sky and threaten to cancel hoping they would offer me a deal which would reduce my monthly cost for the next 4 months (before I pack up and go). The bu$gers are updating their computer systems and can't process any changes until the 10th:mad::mad:.

On the plus side I used Martin's code for a free Valentines card, which is being posted to my hubby in my absence. Love for free, can't beat it.:p

Trying hard to balance the rubbish with the good, its my Aussie mindset:D.

Spending the day finishing off the BBC massive pile of work. Then working hard on reducing my outgoings, which will probably involve lots of letter writing.

Marinading a chicken and doing some spicy wedges for tea - no shopping required :D.
