  • Julie thats brill, just finished my ebay this morning.... for now... til I create more..

just on your letter you have set your stall out as far as your stance, however I would give it time to sink in,and ring or write, stating you want an end to this and would offer small settlement to close the account. Offer a small amount and request that if it is refused you receive a counter offer, as its of mututal benefit that no more time (with associated costs) are spent on this matter.

I have done similiar! Managed to clear a historic 700 credit card debt for 72 pounds.... this was back in February. they had no paperwork, and I didnt know where that amount of debt had come from.... it was a mystery...

then its gone,,, think its woth just one more stamp,,,, ???

  • This site is a wonder. The information is better than that which you would pay for!

    Fantastic advice,

  • Busy night to report in maternity triage - they just keep coming!!!

No more ebay listing for me tonight I don't think. Never mind the listings I have on are doing reasonably well already with 9 days still to go ;).

Planning to get up at a reasonable time tomorrow and iron and photograph the rest of the offerings from my London house. Then when I get back to Glasgow I can ransack that house for more!

Sounds like a plan to me :D.

50% is a fair offer jellybean and I ain't going any higher. If they think I am repaying exuberant charges they have another thing coming:mad:.

I've got other debts to pay you know (just about everyone on MSE knows:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

I have 22 items active on ebay :D.

Had planned to iron the remainder of my London findings and list them tomorrow, but as I am absolutely shattered I won't be doing that.
