oi you, watch it - I'm 27! :rotfl: but have to say, did start to think, hmm, I'm getting old too but you know what, it's not so bad!!

Am the weekend dreading it a bit, but we're off this whole week so although we are saving on a few things from our usual weekly expenditure we have spent more on another things than usual! argh!

but going to see my gorgeous gorgeous baby nephew on saturday and seeing his cutie smiley face will cheer me up no end, (have gone all female and cooey) and seeing my sister will be lovely too.

easter and bank holiday should really be ok, as not doing an awful lot, just diy stuff round the flat, so fingers crossed will be able to curb spending.

might also hide purse, and OH's wallet...

    Good thread!

We dont have alot of money ATM either but have been invited to my Sisters on the coast which is about 45mins away. Im not very well and will be lovely to have a change of scenerey-just the car travelling im not looking forward too. We will get totally spoilt and she cooks up lovely cakes and biscuits. Will be good to catch up and maybe take the kids to the seafront (if OH pushes me in the wheelchair) and take a flask with us and sarnies.

OH and DD have been sanding the garden furniture which needs painting up, we have all the materials so am sure they will be kept busy..LOL. Also have sme skirting that needs finishing in the lounge.

Apart from travelling to sisters..Im on strict bed rest really....very very boring!!

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone.
