kinda worried really. Get paid on the 20th. All was fine I believed till i just tried to book some cinema tickets for next week, which got declined  shouldnt have been. My OH has 2 gigs djing this weekend which I cant miss, but will involve at lest a few drinks. the tursday one is in a cheap pub, but the second one is in one of those snazzy bars Ive been trying to avoid :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Dreading it. OH is skint too and he will be really miserable now not only for the Easter weekend but for the rest of the month. Joy of joys.

I have three things this week I can't get out of (well one I possibly can) as well and I am just going to cry when I have to hand over any cash at all.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR RARRRRRRRR ARGGHHH! IT WAS ALL GOING SO WELL AND I'VE SCREWED UP ROYALLY RARGH!!!!!

    And relax......

  • I have left over wood from having the decking done last year, lots of screws about the place, going to use my imagination and build a couple of obelisks and a planter if I can squeeze that in, that lot should stop me spending over the weekend. I am boycotting easter eggs this year!!!!!!
    Debt Free!!!
  • I have my energetic 2 year old nephew coming to stay over easter for a few days so that will keep me busy. I hope the weather is good and we can take him to the park, and to feed the ducks and to the beach with jam sandwiches!! Spending as little as possible!! If its wet i can help him make buns and snuggle up with a bob the builder dvd!
I also plan to spring clean the house next week and sort out all those drawers that are filling up with junk!

We hopefully won't be spending too much, Friday Hopefully going for a nice walk and maybe a coffee (£2 Max). Saturday will be Cinema (just travel I have a weekly pass, so just £3.80 for Hubby), Sunday will see inlaws, probably have to cook and buy the food (but they may contribute) (hoping it will be less than £10, but they like to eat loads), Sunday will be sat in watching things we already have on DVD (£0). Am really looking forward to it

go to your local authority website, the rangers are likely to have stuff planned for kids such as easter egg hunts, rambles etc at no cost. take kids to the park, go visiting neighbours they might throw in a free cuppa and if your lucky a biscuit

for yourself take yourself off for a walk you can have a lovely time and spend no money over the bank holiday,

dont think about what you may be missing - enjoy something else instead

Perhaps you could try spring cleaning and sort out stuff that can be ebayed/carbooted.
Games, outside if weather nice or inside if raining (if...morelike when!)
Didn't someone start a thread about what's cheap/free to do in your town? I live near London and there's loads to do there. Will have hunt for thread.
Like others have suggested walking, perhaps on beach if one near, or local park, stately home.
Visit library and look at local maps for walking/cycling routes.
    October make £10/day currently £11.02
