T-Mobile "non" upgrade offer
Hi all,
I have just been looking at my account on the T-Mobile website and have seen that I am entitled to £10/ month discount on my line rental if I sign up for another year but do NOT upgrade the phone. I am quite happy with my phone and service and was going to upgrade my phone just to sell it on ebay but I think the £10/ month discount will be more beneficial for me.
There don't seem to be any catches on the T&Cs, has anyone else done this?

I've also been offered half price line rental as an alternative to upgrade my phone. I think that I will accept the line rental reduction rather than a phone.0

I took out this deal with T mobile too. I was offered an extra 100 minutes to 300 minutes of peak and 30 free text for £5.00 a month which I thought was a great deal keeping my old phone.Competitions wins 2010

I was quoted to have £12 off.....speak to Customer Service about it cos I think they changed the policy. I moved from U-Fix 15 to Flext 30 + Web N Walk (unlimited internet on the move) but had to agree to a 18 month deal.
Normally this is £37.50 a month...ended up being £16.12 per month instead :money:0 -
I also got a big discount on my contract for not upgrading and agreeing to another 12 month contract - I have O2 50 (50 minutes and 500 texts a month) for £14 a month (was £19), on a 12 month contract with £100 credit. Works out at £5.66 per month over the course of the contract. I'm a light user and tend to just text quite a bit and was intending to switch to PayG, but was too much of a bargain to miss.0

Bear in mind, I took the Web and Walk option (which is normally £7.50 extra). If you went with say the Flext 25 tariff only (which equates to upto 300 X-Net anytime), the monthly cost will be £6.75 per month

Flext 20 (upto 170 mins) works out to be £3 per month!
These do not involve cashbacks...they are just as they are
Flext tariffs doesn't necessary mean you use up the whole allowance for calls. They can all be used for SMS/MMS or a combination of both calls and SMS/MMS - it is up to you.
If you are nearing the end of your U-Fix tariff or any other T-Mobile tariff, this is definitely worth a look. T-Mobile definitely seems to be the network of the moment
