well, an all in all productive weekend. I went out friday with £5 of my own money and £15 other half gave me as a treat but only spent his £15 so my £5 is going back into my account so i dont spend it!

Done few surveys and scratchcards at the weekend. got £1.20 from Virgin Scratchcards and 30p from Butlins, plus about £3.00 rewards in surveys.

Had my first body shop party in a while on saturday and made £67 in commission and £20 on the raffle so that is all going into my account to keep me in the black this month!

NSD today for me and every day this week except friday as going to see Rocky Horror Shw with a friend in Leicester square so will have to pay for some food and drinks but im limiting this to £10.

  • Hi Keza, congrats on your wedding and I wish you the best of luck with the savings, I unfortunatley had to cancel my wedding after 18 months of planning it due financial difficulties :(

Also hope your physio appointment goes OK for you :D

  • To be honest it was the wedding that sent me to this site, we planned a massive wedding, and did pay a good sum off, but then didn't have the rest so tried to get a loan and we were refused cue LBM! I know it was the right thing for us, and I have only just listed my dress on pre loved and also plan on putting other bits and bobs on ebay later today.

Not set a new date yet, think we will wait till we are debt free, and then save before booking again, also in my first year at uni now so prob wait till after that.

    xxxxx

well yesterday wasnt a NSD as had to buy loo roll £2.50 for 12 rolls in somerfield and also brought half a sack of potatoes to peel, mash and roast and freeze for the winter which was £2.50 also. and i brought my poppy, another £1. the left over £4 from the £10 i withdrew will be used for bag of sugar 65p from 99p store and a box of teabags (coz while ive been unwell, i managed to pour boiling water into the tea bag caddy rather than my mug! DOH!)

Off out tonite to see rocky horror picture show in leciester square! limiting myself to £15 for food, few wines (need a bit of courage coz dressing up as columbia!) and travel! i have my normal london season ticket so will just put £5 on my oyster card.

Started Coloured squares today as recommended by the lovely Rainy! great idea! nice to see the progress at first glance!

Cant wait till i start to actually see them totals come down! its hard coz i got to save for the wedding alongside. but im really excited about getting married to Mr Keza and wouldnt change it for the world, its helpful to keep me focused on why im doing this to myself aswell! onwards and upwards! xx
