Hmm yeah sounds like rest is the best thing tbh :o:o

But yeah I had loads of time off and it comes back quickly so no need to panic too much - a week or two should heal it up nicely and I'm sorry to say no huge heels in the meantime please (they shorten the tendon and make it sore):eek:, small heel should be okay but really flats and trainers are best :D

I hate that when you get cold at the start - next race try running the first mile a lot more slowly - dont worry you wont go really slowly but it should be enough to ease the muscles in if you've got cold (and also leaves you with energy for a sprint finish :p) :D

Ah well I'm off on holiday next week and can't fit high heels in my bag so a week in trainers and flat shoes should help. Will try the slow start although my natural instinct is to get stuck in there straight off :D

Posted on my diary beanie :D:D (shameless attempt to get some more peeps to read it :p) but we're going here for lunch:
    http://www.roofgardens.virgin.com/

Then to Kensington Palace, then on for drinks :D

We're really lucky in that its paid for by the company (including the drinks) so its a lovely free lunch and afternoon off work :D

    Sounds nice Beanie!

Yay, my new George Foreman grill's just got here, so hopefully that will help with the weight loss, and make cooking easier for me. It's only a mini one, but I had one before and it was great. And it was half price on Amazon!
