Ooh that reminds me, does anyone know where you can buy oats from? My sister wants to make oatmeal cookies, and I've always fancied making my own muesli, but neither of us can find cheap suitable oats!
Ames I get mine from the co-op - 74p for a 500g bag, usually use them for making blackberry breakfast bars - seem to come out okDon't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -
Ames, Holland & Barrett can sometimes have cheap stuff in.

0800 number.
It could be a recorded greeting - quite often with call centres the employee records their greeting once at the start of their shift, so that a) they don't have to say it over and over, but more importantly b) they probably haven't rung you, you will have been called by an automatic dialler, and only connected to an operator if you answer, so it gives them a vital few seconds to work out who they are going to be talking to and why.
There are industry guidelines on how many dropped calls (where you answer and there is no operator available to take your call) they can make - basically if they are dropping too many, they should be turning the dialler down so it doesn't ring as many people in quick succession - so if you are getting a lot, keep a record, and if they get complaints and don't do anything about it, they can be fined."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
