It sounds as though the IT dept. hadn't been given the resources to cope with this larger number of people. I think previous years everyone has been content with just having their sale slot apart from those who don't get a VIP invite.

I think the problem is that they cater for x number of people who have that time slot but don't account for the fact you only need to log in during your time slot and not checkout. I logged in at 18.00 and then back in at 18.45 to do the second part of our order (didn't want to order too much in the first order as I thought there was a limit on what you could have in your bsaket) and so was trying to check out the 2nd order at 19.30ish, at which point there were probably people from 4 time slots (18.00-19.00, 18.30-19.30, 19.00-20.00 and 19.30-20.00) all trying to use the site.

My slot was between 6.30 and 7.30 this morning. I had no problems whatsoever with my order. When I got to about 70 items it made me check out, but I was able to go back in and re-order a 2nd time. Most of what I ordered was in stock. I did double up on a lot of things as recently I have found their sizing to be a bit off. Think this is their best sale yet!!!:j

The only thing i wanted to buy, is now out of stock in my size
Im very happy that everyone has been able to get some bargins, as lets face it, clothing is exspensive, but im a bit gutted that ive missed out!

also, do next have live help. If so where can i find it plz? (wanna see if i can get the dress full price instead, i want to get it for my daughters christining)

keep checking over the next two weeks, it might come back in stock

i know im sending back lots of items, as my order got duplicated, and they cant cancel it, so im being sent double of everything

if its in stock, then you can still order it at full price through the main next site

Cant fault it, well i can a few items appeared full price - but i've been assured i wont be charged full price and a note has been put on my account my slot was 7-8am, great thing is there was stuff on there this morning which wasnt even in the preview listing or was showing as sold out late last night......

I duplicated orders as well, hopefully should mean a greater chance of receiving the "4-5 weeks" items.

Try calling them to see if they can tell you if it is in full price. Also, could you drop in to one of the stores?
