Next VIP invitations released

I tried for just under an hour to log into my slot, eventually rang my order through....mind you I spoke to 4 different people before someone would take my order. Most of the stuff I ordered for my little boy was in stock but everything I had ordered for my 4 year old daughter was sold out!!
Never had any problems getting through to vip sale before....not very impressed this year...

I'm really glad I didn;t get a VIP slot now!! Theres no-way I need anymore stress in my life right now, and this all sounds so ridiculous to have to muck about like this! Shame on Next for a poor service. Although it could be that so many people are trying alternative ways to get into the sales that it's crashed it??

They've put a holding page on the whole website now about technical difficulties.

For those who have had their slot and managed to order online, was there a restriction to the number of items in each order? I think last time they only let you order 20 items at a time?

I had the same problem but paniked and used the mobile to an 0871 number for 45 mins (had a lot to order, so much she laughed at the end, saying phew and it took 3 orders!) god knows what my phone bill is gunna be:eek:!

Usually its 100 items per basket, I dont 91 then checked out and ordered more

I was going to write the numbers down last night but went to bed DOH! So just rung the helpline and got thro - placed an order and got the big barbi :T- but couldnt remember the clothes I needed (too many) so it looks like I may have to wear my barbi for work for the next 6 months!
Still on phone awaiting a new appointment (and watching dragons den to make up for the disappointment):mad:
