Yes im female. I have cameras but they failed while I was away. I have my suspicions that he turned the electric off to stop them working as they are usually ok. I know its illegal but he keeps entering on the pretext of looking at the boiler. I would go to the the police but dont know if they will take my complaint seriously?
I think they were asking you to check if he's a perv who has been putting cameras in your room..... if you suspect this ask report the possibility to the police - there may be previous complaints....0 -
I would def report it to the police, something is def fishy, I know someone has said about cameras, but also look for anything that has been moved, any little holes,

Speak to the private tenancy relations officer at your local council. The police rarely get involved with landlord/tenant disputes because most breaches are civil rather than criminal.
Live in landlords can access parts of the property but live out landlords must give notice and gain consent from tenants before accessing it.
Change the lock on the front door and your bedroom door and swap them back at the end of the tenancy.
How do you know he enters your room if you aren't there?0 -
Because hes moves my bed on the pretext of getting to the boiler. He thinks hes smart and moves the matress back but it doesnt fit the frame properly so I know when its been moved.0
