Ryanair - errors on boarding pass?

Can't find any discussion threads on this...
I have made a small error on an online boarding pass.
I must have incorrectly typed the expiry date of my passport (just the day and month not the year). Didn't notice until I'd printed it out. Feeling really cross with myself and really don't want to have to pay the £80 new boarding pass fee. Has anyone any advice? Should I phone Ryanair to report it? I can't seem to change it online. Has anyone travelled with such an error (knowing or unknowingly)? I have a few days until I travel so will be checking regularly and would be really grateful for any advice, thanks:A

The staff at the gate will mainly be looking at the name and the photo. I'd be very surprised if they notice a slight mistake on the expiry date. although it is printed boldly. Is the passport number correctly given? Can you go back onto the Ryanair site and correct the Advance Passenger Information? Advance Passenger Information is for the Spanish authorities not the airlines. I doubt they'll be considering a terrorist because of the slip.0

I put the wrong expiry date on my daughter's passport and nothing was said so I assumed they hadn't noticed.0

I did this for my husband two weeks ago after i had online checked in and printed out boarding cards. I rang the customer services he changed it over the phone, no charge and I wnat in 10 minutes later and re printed boarding cards. it's not worth the risk!!0

Thankyou everyone. What a great source of information (and reassurance). I will phone customer services tomorrow!0

Ryanair, despite what many people would like you to think, are not mean in this respect - they actually do operate with a great deal of common sense. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.

Apologies for "bumping" this thread but it was the first result back from Google.
We're flying with Ryan Air on Sunday and one of our party has misspelt their surname. Basically they've accidentally inserted one extra letter by mistake.
Do we need to point this out to Ryan Air and possibly incur a £100 "name change" fee for the sake of removing a single letter or should we just run the risk?0 -
Apparently Ryanair are very good at changing an obvious mistake for free if you call them. It's not the same as a complete name change which would incur a change fee.0

Just did this Luci...am waiting until tomorrow before phoning them, so I hope they are still as understanding!

Yes, they are - it's one of the things that Ryanair don't boast about, they just do the job quickly and effectively.
But this only applies where it's obvious that it's a mistake - you won't be allowed to change "Daniel" for "David", for instance. From Poland...with love.
