Hey darling how are you feeling??
It does get you down i've been doing this a year nearly and its a roller coaster of emotions and just as everything seems to go my way something jumps em slaps me round the face and i'm stressed about money again! YOU WILL GET THERE
As for the fella, i don't want to quote all the annoying useless sayings I got, but i did the same thing, i had a man I would have killed for, i worshipped him and all he did was take - infact he was half of he reason i'm in the state u'm in now - he was a sponge and I guess you must feel a sense of loss in a way, plus your trying to sort your debt out which means loosing a bit of freedom because your staying in etc... but you are doing all for the right reasons you just keep reminding yourself,
I would recommend a diary, I have one and i'm please to say that everytime I feel down i log on and read my own, you forget how far you have come and i'm getting to the point where i'm having less and less financial drama's! and keep in reading other peoples - you might pick up the odd fab idea
As for your mum - make her dinner one night, but make a bit of a thing of it, doesn't need to be an expensive receipe but the odd candle and the tale set nicely - as a thank you for all she does for you (sometimes I find when mothers moan you don't do enough for them, what they mean is: you don't appreciate what i do for you!)

But lifes not to bad, might take myself off somewhere in the rain today and I am also planning to try and lose some weight which I need to do and to be honest eating healthy food always makes me feel better!
hope everyone else is ok xxCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Hi Lucy, i just read your thread, sorry to hear you have been having such a rough time of it lately. I hope things are getting a bit calmer for you. I have been struggling with life a bit over the past few years and debt certainly doesnt help things. I am trying to get areas my life under control by getting ideas from here and as you mentioned trying to look after myself. I agree that If i dont feel healthy physically then i tend to not be able to cope as much.

I think looking after yourself is a big thing really and as a general population we don't really give it much thought.
I guess it's the old thing about loving yourself, so food shopping tomorrow will be a trolley of cheap and healthy living to make me feel good on the inside and hopefully one day look amazing on the outside too
Mum's off to stay with my aunt for a week tomorrow so I might treat myself to a homemade spa afternoon, but only once I've meal planned and been shopping.
I might even look about starting a proper diary.....Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

That's not good!! Are you feeling any better?
I didn't have a spa afternoon.... I went back to bed instead and had sleeps with the cat.
I feel really tired actually, Mum's away at my Aunt's for the week and I'll get to see her on Saturday so long as I feel ok, she goes in for her 3rd round of chemo next monday.
Ok jobs for tomorrow:
- call landlord about dripping guttering
- make appointment with Asthma nurse (i'm newly diagnosed so need to get my meds right
- Spend 1 hr tidying and finding things for ebay
- Try and win 1st auction on Ebay and win pressie for mum.
Nothing much really, but stuff that needs to be done. I've never bid and won anything on ebay so it should be an interesting experience!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Nope, I've eaten two more since
Still, Monday's a new day for the old diet!
Sleeps with the cat is probably just as relaxing as a spa day, and better for the soul!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
