Barclaycard Platinum limit?

When I enquired about applying for a Barclaycard at my branch, the personal banker (who happened to be the Branch Manager) told me that because of my account history, I was very likely to be accepted for a Platinum card, but said couldn't tell me what limit I would get. Does anyone know what sort of limits they are issuing at the moment for the 0% Platinum card?
Also, my H closed his Barclaycard late last year. Can he apply for one now or will he be refused? Is there a time period that you have to wait before reapplying?

I got £5000 with a Platimum card, although only recently a Barclay's customer due to the £100 incentive.

I got quite a low credit limit from Barclay, about £3000 I think. I would have cancelled it but they already did a BT of some money I had put on the application form and the BT was 10 month fee free so I thought "what the Hell" I might as well use it.0

My OH just received one with a £4500 limit. Balance transfer went through with no hassle also!0

Just applied for one and am hoping for a £2000-£3000 limit. I had a Barclaycard before and had a £1700 limit, but didnt ever activate the card and a few months later cancelled it. Hopefully that wont go against me. My credit search was done yesterday so hopefully wont be too long before I hear.0

SO are we DEFO SURE THAT THEY SEARCH EQUIFAX? Any one eles that has appiled lately, that has ordered there credit files?
Also if you hold a VISA Barclaycard, and want to apply for a Mastercard Barclaycard will they search Equifax too????

Yep, the only search was on Equifax and not on Experian. This was crucial to me applying so I wouldnt have been too happy had there been an Experian search too!0
