Not sure I've got the confidence to go to meetings hun, getting weighed in public etc :o

I've been awful today, dont seem to have stopped eating

I go to Slimming World and it is done in such a way that no-one else can see your weight and it is not spoken out loud. The only thing said to you is how you have done and to be honest because everyone is there for the same thing, it doesn't phase you as much as you think it would.

Having done WW and also SW I would recommend SW because although I enjoyed WW and lost weight, I did find it quite restrictive. When your points were finished, that was it! With SW there is so much you can eat and I know the principle of it sounds difficult, but it really isn't.

I watched the Biggest Loser this morning whilst eating a bacon Sandwich!!

WW is great for everyone - we did it, Mum and I and it worked very well.

Is it easy to follow without actually going to meetings? I've got the booklets from a friend, and it does seem straight forward

    Evening lovely people.

I had a lovely day today and it wasn't until I got home that I realised I'd forgotten to take my happy pill:rotfl:

Might have spent some money on myself ...:o

OH refuses to acknowledge the problem, even though this has plagued him all his life...in his head all his problems are genuine.....Doc prescribes anti d's and OH point blank refuses to take them. When he 'comes out the other side' he will acknowledge that he has a problem but not to the extent he takes pills..

I on the other hand will take anything if it makes me feel better. I have put up with it for a long time and this has been the longest period without an attack, so I had been lulled into a false sense of security. Its getting harder to cope with...

Sounds awful hun. How long do these bad times usually last?

for me its that "embarrassment" that makes me be good every week. If I know I have to be weighed in , I stick to it and I feel great when I have a good week. I have never done SW but my sister lost 5 stone on it

I lost 3 stone on SW as it used to be, red and green days. I had no problems on it at all. Not sure I understand the recent changes though

Ouch to the sorely legs
