I just realised, I've been sat here reading a WW booklet, and eating a family bag of crisps at the same time  :wall:

Sammy, hugs hun. It cant be easy for you. Has he ever spoken to the doc about his depression/paranoia? If not, could you maybe do it on his behalf?

OH refuses to acknowledge the problem, even though this has plagued him all his life...in his head all his problems are genuine.....Doc prescribes anti d's and OH point blank refuses to take them. When he 'comes out the other side' he will acknowledge that he has a problem but not to the extent he takes pills..

I on the other hand will take anything if it makes me feel better. I have put up with it for a long time and this has been the longest period without an attack, so I had been lulled into a false sense of security. Its getting harder to cope with...

I watched the Biggest Loser this morning whilst eating a bacon Sandwich!!

WW is great for everyone - we did it, Mum and I and it worked very well.

I feel for you Sammy :(

My ex used to go into what I called 'black' depressions and they were hard to live with. He drank his way through his, which was never nice :(

Sammy hun, big big hugs, you need lots of them. Sounds like a typical Man, one that doesn't want to feel like a failure, face up to the fact that he has a problem and burries his head in the sand. There isn't anything you can do other than get pills for him and force them down him or live with it. Its a hard thing for anyone to live with and you deserve a medal :grouphug:

You know we are all here when you need to offload or want to take refuge xxxx

Spud I have done WW about 3 or 4 times before and found it great, but its the going to the meetings that does it for me, knowing I have to get weighed and the fact I have Paid so I don't like to waste money. Ive tried on my own, tried doing food focus and I just am uncontrolable.....another long long story!
