Pooky, well done to your DD - what an honour!
Bookie - I've only just joined so don't know much about your circumstances but I say definitely go on the holiday, and resume things when you get back. We all deserve a break!
I feel dreadful today - I think I have the start of a kidney infection (again!) - shaking, chills and temperature, not to mention the other TMI stuff
Mr SS is going to take me down the hospital later to get some antibiotics as my proper doctor is 30 miles away (just moved and haven't changed yet, whoops!) and it's a Sunday. I hate going to hospital! Bride to Be - 2011 and Weight Watcher - 4 stone down!

I am okay Sally, (I think)....day started off as usual with OH being apologetic for yesterday....loves me blah blah blah lets spend the day together we got out he switches like a light bulb (apparently I don't show enough enthusiasm for things we do together) it gets nasty - i lose the plot get upset he gets angry I get more upset - we come home he gets all morose and apologetic and then goes to bed tired....leaving me strung out, emotional and totally wracked off.. he will get up shortly and spend all evening trying to make amends......
Sorry for bringing this up - just needed to offload......
The reason this is happening is he is depressed and insecure.....(he also thinks he is constantly having a heart attack).
Big sigh....he is going back to work on Tuesday so I should get a break then...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Sammy, hugs hun. It cant be easy for you. Has he ever spoken to the doc about his depression/paranoia? If not, could you maybe do it on his behalf?
Sally, I've spent the weekend reading about it, and it seems more family friendly than CD so I fancy giving it a try. Let me know how you get on with it.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
