I've subscribed to receive daily email updates from 4 different forums but only get them on a seemingly random basis. (Some days I receive 3 emails, sometimes I don't get any. Today I just got 1)
All 4 are 'busy' forums so always have new threads & updates to existing threads.
I've tried un-subscribing & re-subscribing but this hasn't worked.
Anyone know if there's a way to make it work better?

I've just done a search of the forum for 'daily updates' and this old post of mine is one of only a few there, so I don't know whether no-one else has the problem, or no-one else subscribes to forums.
When I originally posted the query the e-mails I got were infrequent & fairly random. I've since unsubscribed to all but one forum, but so far this year I've had only two emails.
Does anyone else get any updates or have any suggestions?

Ditto. I asked the same question on the following forum and was directed here!

my forum updates stopped working a while ago. The ones I should get as daily digest no longer come through, yet last year, I was getting them no problem.
I keep unsubscribing and re-subscribing and nada. nothing happens.
Have e-mailed webby a few times, no reply.
even my instant notifications are hit and miss
can anyone help us:?0 -
I've got the same problem too. They used to come through no problem, but haven't done for months. My thread subscriptions don't always come through either."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". whatever thread/forum you want to subscribe too, go to the top where the green toolbar is, click on thread tools, then click on subscribe to this thread.
then choose how you want to receive your subscriptions, instant, daily, etc.0 -
something someone has said to me today, makes kinda sense.
For those of us not receiving our notifications of threads/forums we have subscribed to... if you click on it at least one, especially with forums, read one of the threads, you may find the notifications start coming through.
I have found with my normal instant notifications, I don't get any for a while, even though I will check my subscriptions and it will show new posts, but if I open one, lots of notifications start coming through on the other threads.
Maybe this will help us all?0 -
The subscription system is erratic on here, sometimes when updates are available no notification is sent but quite often I get two copies of each digest. It isn't massively surprising that there are problems as this site isn't particularly well designed or programmed.
