Approved food discussion thread

I used to use another discount website until on my second order there was some substitution going on and it didnt quite even out. I contacted them by email but no response so I don't think I'll be using them again.

I placed an order with approved food on the 8th of Jan so just waiting on a confirmation of despatch email.

In the past I've ordered skips that were stale even though they were sealed so I think it would be best to give those a miss. This goes for some cereals as well where I've had stale clusters!

Put my first order in last Friday and it arrived Monday morning!
Very happy with the products (mainly dried food stuff), where to put it all is beyond me at the moment.
I'll end up giving it away I reckon.
Nice easy website, very cheap and fast delivery........................well done and thank you Approved food.

I ordered a load of stuff in the run up to Christmas (pop, cheese biscuits, sweeties and other 'season' things like sauces and pickles). We had so much stuff, OH had to set up two trestle tables in the garage to hold it all! I think it will still be there at Easter....... Don't get me wrong, it's all (well most of it, except maybe the gluten free Bourbon biscuits) yummy, but there's just so much.......

By the way, approved food have got a discount group http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#/group.php?gid=238546744825 where they are giving a 10% off voucher.

In the order, I ordered a few "case bargains" where you get a whole box of e.g. soup (add water type) for about 50p. I've noticed that when you get a newsletter about a really good bargain, you need to get in there quick as it will soon be out of stock!

Not phoned before but always got an answer to any emails Ive sent

my order has apparently been delivered and left with my neighbour next door, however i was taslking to my neighbour who they were supposed to leave my parcelwith at the time thy said they delivered. Have called dhl numerous times to which they say we will look into it, then tell me it was left with said neihbour, feel like i am banging my head off a brick wall. so someone has a huge box of foodstuffs , but it is not me or any of my neighbours, i did call AP yesterday, after i emailed them , but it seems dhl is not gettin back to them , the lovely lady ( it was her first day) said she will look into it for me, fingers crossed, £30 is not a hue sum, but it is when you are on a tight budget.

do they email you when the order is sent? I placed an order on friday ,not worried when it arrives but would like to know when it's on it's way.

Generally yes, you will get an email when it's waiting to be picked up. It's normally delivered the following day, or maybe the day after that.
