Nope, nothing, just the email from Approved Foods, and then if I'm lucky, an email fron XDP with a link to a status page which is only updated once the parcel is delivered.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
  • I have to say, I phoned XDP today to track an order (because it can't be done from the website which is a bit mad) but I have to say they were really very helpful. They couldn't find the information immediately but took my number and called back very quickly. They even said if I ring after 9am tomorrow, they will tell me what time the delivery will be. Quite impressed. Can't see DHL matching this.

    Hi fairyface,

Was it approved foods? If so there's a thread discussing them on the Food Shopping and Grocery board:

Approved food - the food discussion

I'll move this thread over there shortly.

anyway i have seen dried soya mince on there today

even though i have never used any type of soya mince, it does seem as though its a good bargin to stock up on...

just wondering how the heck i use it.... do i soak it and then use it like normal mince meat?

going to put a few in my basket anyway at that price,

they also have bags of broth mix too, great to get in ready for those winter soups.....:D

We use it to bulk out normal home made mine products, just add the dried stuff to your basic mince and use as normal. And it's lower fat than the leanest mince.
