My order arrived today (quick going as only ordered late Tues evening!) and so did the 18 bars of Nestle Double Berry White Chocolate... and it is gorgeous!:j:j:j:j:j

I would never had known it was 4 years old! Must have something to do with the foil packaging, but definitely recommended. Unless you're on a diet, like I was until about 2 bars ago! :o

The kids loved the free Bruiser bars too. Oh, and if Dan's around, thanks for stocking the Starclens and Stardrops disinfectant - I'd lost all hope of being able to find it here down South - excellent!

    had my recent order

Lost of the starburst, mars delight, aeros etc - all great -no jelly beans replaced with starburst

The gluten free choc orange cereal bars are really nice (seem to be choc covered puffed rice type) - and were 5 boxes of 6 for a £1 - so good for lunch boxes etc

Hula hoops nacho cheese and wheat crunchies all top quality. cats love the opticat cat food - got stacks of this.

    Still lots to try
Back to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak

Is this the Lidl stuff ?
ETA Just looked at the site and it seems to be the Lidl stuff but non-English writing on it.
    Our cat loves Opticat ;)

Can I ask.....do AF test the products (maybe a couple per 100 or so) before selling them ?
I know use by dates are often just a guide but some things must go a bit funny (eg the salad cream).
I would be reluctant to buy some things past their date simply because although they may be safe, they might not taste the way they are supposed to.
    Just wondered anyway.

You do see the occasional comment on the site that this item is old but Dan has tasted them and they seem fine. :o

I bought a tray of 24 drinks and my son found out the hard way that it pays to be a bit cautious. _pale_

The first couple he tried were fine but then he took a swig from one and immediately headed for the sink and was rinsing his mouth out for ages! After that he resorted to sniffing them all before they went near his mouth and you could smell they had gone off so most of them got binned.

After reading through the threads over the last couple of months we finally decided to take the plunge and placed an order last Thursday. Our parcel went from sheffield to hatfield and we subsequently tracked it to the local DHL depot in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It sat there over the weekend, despite a phone call to check if it would be delivered on Saturday and although tracker said it was 'out for delivery' early this morning (with phone calls to ensure this) it hasn't yet turned up. Spent nearly 2 hours on the phone to customer service this afternoon listening to elevator music before giving up after holding on for so long.

Is this common???? I'm stunned as I thought DHL was a reputable company.

Sorely disappointed by this whole experience.
    Aye, look - I got a siggie :D
