Forces Wives/Girlfriends Website....???

Morning all.

Just wondering if anyone knew of any websites that are any good for forces girls & wives???
I've spent all weekend looking and have found a few but these are pretty pants!
I've been thinking all night about it and how there isn't anything decent out there.
I've been learning how to do websites and was debating about perhaps setting one up for RAF wives & girlfriends.
I would like to see information about various bases all complied in to website.
My Partner is off to Herford in Germany next month, can I find any info about it on net??! NO!
It would be nice for an up to date site that people could just come to and maybe give tips and in future perhaps arrange meets.
It takes a certain special someone to be a good forces wife/girlfriend and I really do think that a lovely website where people can get together would be great.
Any ideas or suggestions??

That sounds an awesome idea Princess G, would you start off with just the regiment he is in??? Cos I can see that being a major project in itself! Have you looked into seeing if you can get funding from the forces??

Check out the small biz and charities board, there's a few people who have asked about setting up websites there

He's in Air traffic and that's so big!! I've worked within the area for nearly 8 years so I know quite a bit about general stuff.
I was just pondering last night about it.
He's posted to Herford and I cannot find anything about it, The nice Hive ladies have sent me info from Germany but I would like first hand stuff and a real opinon from someone out there.
I've not even suggested it to my partner yet lol, I think it could be fun and would keep me entertained while he's away!
I know there are lots of websites out there but I just want a dedicated one to wives & girlfriends and general base info perhaps.

I hope so, Forums are great way of asking and talking about things.
I'd like it easy to use and full of info anf ideas.
