Got my elderly parents on Ikea so I can manage it on the web. THey email me when it is time to make a call to keep it active.0 -
I considered Ikea as you can view your calls online.
I contacted them to ask if they could block unsolicited premium rate texts (Already been scammed) from being received. Not at the moment they replied.
I probably may never have got scammed again but being such a performance to get your money back (£1.50 a text & can't stop them) I don't want to risk it.
Some poor folk have had a lot of money charged on their phones and cannot get it refunded.
So, went with Tesco Lite instead.0 -
Thanks for your answers. Have decided to go for Orange racoon.
I would like to keep my phone number but O2 won't give me my PAC unless I reactivate my SIM and to do this I have to top up - but there is £10 or £15 on there anyway that I won't get to use so I don't want to increase it. Is this normal? Is it worth arguing about? (When he told me I think I just said 'OK, thank you' and put the phone down!)0 -
When you close your Pay & Go account you should be able to claim back any unused credit. Although I could be wrong about this (if I am, not refunding unused credit should be made illegal)0

I use Ikea ( Family Mobile ) now, you get to choose your own number from a huge selection, and you can control it all online, not quite as cheap as Asda/Tesco, but they use T Mobile network which is the only network that gives a good signal where I live.
Oh they also give free £10 credit for any recommended new applications.0
