    Morning.

I'm another who likes to read everyone's posts even if they don't think they have much to say - neither do I most of the time :o :rotfl: Keep posting everyone!

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday to Miss Essex Girl!

N9eav (Steve) Loved the launch footage, thanks!

My DS2 finds out about Head Boy today he's given it his best shot so can't do anymore. Good luck to all the candidates :D

Not much planned today apart from the usual tidying, cooking, cleaning & ironing  Fish, new potatoes & salad for tea & soup for lunch. There's still lots of fruit salad left in the fridge so that'll keep the snack munchies away!

Have a good day all xx

I feel slightly embarrassed because even if I have very little to say I still post on this thread.......

Anyhow crispy cakes are made. Need to push vac round stairs and landing and bedrooms before taking DS to pre school and then round to my mums to start preparing.
Sun is out at the mo it's nice. Just checked the weather on BBC, light rain grrrrrrr. It doesn't have to be sunny by can it just be dry...........

    Morning All!
Sunshine in Hastings, hope it lasts!
Thanks for all your good wishes, DD was complaining of groin pain yesterday, but I said I had that so no worries!

Took my Dad shopping yesterday for new clothes. He's lost weight recently, and we ended up buying im a new blazer for his RAF do's. A 16 year old school blazer from Asda:eek: All the men's ones were too big! Still I've changed the buttons and put his badge on and you wouldn't know any difference.

Listed a load of clothes on ebay yesterday. I love Jacques Vert, but most of mine are 12's and I have to admit defeat and say I'm now a 14.:o Still I bought most of them from ebay, so I can always get more if I ever do slim!:rotfl:

N9eav Nothing wrong with Steve, my OH is called that!:T
Got some chicken, and sweetcorn pasta salad in Asda yesterday reduced to 70p from £2.99 so we are having that with gammon steaks (£1.18) and salad today.

Hope you all have a good day!

    Hilary x

    Morning :hello:
Nice and sunny again hope it lasts,

I was at the Doctors for ages yesterday, when they changed my appointment 4 weeks ago the new one they gave me was'nt put on the comp:eek: and no appointments left for yesterday, she said I could sit and wait if I wanted. Was'nt for too long just over an hour.
Breathing clinic is only on Thursday's and the next available appointment was 13th August, anyway upshot was another inhaler. I'd been there over 2 hours by the time I got out ;)
I used to do yoga years ago and did breathing exercises so I will start to do them again, they are supposed to help with Asthma so they should be ok for COPD....we'll see.....sorry for the ramble :o

N9eav - ooo loved the launch it looks very exciting
    Moggins - A baby how lovely :TCONGRATULATIONS:T
Diva - I used to grow French Beans and they do seem to suddenly double their size but they are still tasty, nothing quite like growing your own is there??
Sunnygirl - fingers crossed for DS2
Halight - good luck for today

Off shopping in a mo seem to have run out of loads, think I will pop into Tesco for some of that steak N9eav mentioned.
I really must sort the freezer out it seems to have got itself into a muddle

    Hi all.

Sunny Girl - good luck to your DS2.

Donny-Gal - good to hear from you. Hope things look up soon for your DS.

Pippa - have pm'd you about the COPD.

Well, the sun is trying to come out but, in my opinion, it's not trying hard enough. Still, at least it makes me stay in and work, I suppose.

I've just caught up with domestic paperwork and letter-writing. The usual that seems to happen to me - AOL, that I cancelled when we left the UK, have been taking money from my account. They refunded what they owed, and then took some more, so I've sent them another angry email. Then Sky have been sending me bills for money I don't owe them - in fact, they owe me. I cannot phone them from France, so have to keep writing to them. they seem to have ignored my last letter and just sent me another bill. I hate having to do other people's work for them, but I always end up having to write angry letters to get a situation resolved.

    Anyway, enough of that.

    Will call in later.

    Morning all,

Cool but ok here today, is to rain heavily later so have taken all clothes off the line, all too dry to leave out in the rain.

Happy birthday to Ms Essex Girl ...I have been married for 39 years to-day so am not going to engage in anything OS....we are going out for lunch and will probably just veg for the rest of the day, think that I deserve a day off.....

    N9eav....loved the video.

The garden is doing well...we are not buying any veg at present, tomatoes are slow but never expect anything else, have some tomatoes on mini plants which are almost ready to use....would like to wave a magic wand to get rid of the weeds, could spend hours every day just weeding at the moment.

Have a good day all, hugs to all in need or want
