How to complain to Audi?

They didnt stop making them they simply improved them to take the power as they were a weak point they did have a recall IIRC to upgrade the 6clutch to the 7clutch not sure if OP'S car was part of that recall

They stopped making them point blank. If you wanted an auto you had to have the Quattro which came with a normal auto box.

The auto box from 05 models onwards is a ZF auto.
The DSG is totally different too.

CVT is still alive and kicking in the A4 and A6 - now known as Multitronic.

Well some bad !!!!!! has put one in my 08 A4 :eek: but that one works very well. lol

....but the multitronic box was CVT so it didnt have 6 or 7 gears......

They dont opperate as a normal CVT this explains it quite well
