Hopefully it involves a ton of excrement and an equal amount of £s. :beer:They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

A thought just crossed my mind there not using a delay tactic, as you said they made a long wait between exchange and were going to complete/move in. Did they buy off plan the 2 months were for it to be built but its not ready yet and sort of stay rent free until its ready to move in?
At the beginning I had sympathy for the sellers maybe they lost their job or couldn't get a mortage. That went out the window when you said 2 full time jobs, 2 new cars etc. And the live about making a young family homeless really took the biscuit - their are options : caravan, hotel, rent, stay with friends and family.
I have known people in the past that have stayed in their car cos they had to move out and couldn't move straight into their new property. One had the keys went missing at the estate agents and the previous people had put their keys thru the letterbox and it was too late to ring a locksmith. And another case was when the previous owners son would not leave the house and they couldn't afford to go to a hotel or rent they moved all their stuff into the garage parked the car in the driveway and setup a tent in the front garden. I think the police has to use force and get the son out after 2 days.0 -
