Hi, I’m one of the idiots employed by KFC! I can appreciate how annoying it must be having things from your order missing, my colleagues have miss packed my orders on occasion and I myself have done it to friends and family as well.
The thing to remember is that the staff are only human and so mistakes do happen, especially in such a busy environment, when they do steps are in place to put things right, ie advising the customer to bring their entire order back for refund or replacement or taking note of the complaint and compensating the next time the customer visits.
I have to say that I resent the ‘Idiot’ comment, I am far from Idiotic and although I know it’s not a personal attack I feel the need to defend myself.0 -
It is up to the customer to check the goods once purchased. How do they know you have not eaten the burger ?

Before you take your daughter to KFC again check the below article about trans fats.

Seriously, the op went to KFC and had a problem, she did not commit a major crime against humanity , some of the comments on here are really judgemental as opposed tp helpful,
If she wants KFC its her choice and if she paid for something but didnt get it, thats unfair.
A big thanks to all the comp posters for their effort0 -

It is the praise, vent and warnings board. There doesn't necessarily have to be particularly bad service practices involved.0

I sympathise with the OP because this has happened to me too. We go to kfc as a treat now and again, and it ended that we just stopped supporting the franchise of that kfc as every time we went, four times in a row, they missed an item from our order, different items each time. Twice I went in and complained and got the item replaced and was met with the excuse that it was down to trainees. However, when the Line manager himself is taking the orders and money and then handing the order over, he ought to be double checking that everything is there if he has a bunch of trainees doing the orders.
So we go to a different kfc now and the other one has lost our business because they can't get things right.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Ah, nexuss...another helpful post, blaming the customer. Do you look at these boards purely to pick arguments?
Surely if the poster was wanting dietary advice she'd have posted on the 'Health & Beauty' board?Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
i refuse to go to kfc ever again since last time i went the 'lady' that took my order was so rude and expeced me to nkow their entire menu, she was also not impressed that i asked for a high chair.0
