success stories for £12 cc charges

Hello all,
I was just wondering who has had success reclaiming credit card charges, from which company, but only if theyve been charged £12 per claim not £30 or £35....
All of my charges are £12 or £13 and not sure if its worth it!!
Thanks all...
Got back my CC charges from Crap One. Received confirmation letter that they are to pay dca, after sending back settlement form.
Opted for the difference between the £20 imposed by Crap One and £12 rec. by OFT. But if I were you, I'll claim the whole lot: will take longer though.0 -
hi, just a quick query if anyone can help.
have sent my first letters asking for recharges to be paid back but the credit card companies have refused to pay so am about to send my second letters threatening court action. was wondering though if anyone knows if they can ask me to pay back the money that i still owe on the cards as i can't afford to do that at the moment?
would just like to check before start forcing the issue.
thanks0 -

No they can't. What did the first letter say? Was it all the £12 charges you were claiming?0 -
hi, thanks
have over £100 of £12 charges on two cards. i asked for the money back plus interest in the first letter to see what they would say. they said that charges are set out in terms etc and that they think are fair and that they won't pay back anything.
thought would send second letter threatening court proceedings and maybe say that will accept the charges without the interest on a without prejudice basis. just wanted to check that they wouldn't ask for money back that owe on cards at the moment.
do you think that's the right thing to do regarding the second letter?

thanks nat.
do you think should just send one letter asking for charges plus interest and threatening court action or do you have a better chance by sending a w/p letter too saying will just accept the charges back?0 -
wrote to vanquis 4 weeks ago, requesting list of charges.
today got letter saying your charges amount to 156 pounds and we will refund the amount to your card.
called them up and said i had settled my cc with collect direct so could i get a cheque. they agreed!!0 -
congrats costaerer.
am going to send my second letters next week so hopefully will be able to get something back - fingers crossed.0
