I have recently had a pay out from capital one for £352
This was for costs, interest and all my charges which were all £12.

I told them an acceptable amount was £2.50 and no more, but they chose to payout in full, so it is worth challenging these companies.

I have also had success with Barclays once again with £12 charges.

Could you possibly post a link to the letter template you used? Many thanks, this is definately worth a try.

    hi runner20k

would appreciate if you could put up a template of what you said in your letters. i'm trying to reclaim £12 charges from a couple of credit cards (over £100 each). have just had the first letter replied to when they say they won't pay it back and am wanting to send one saying will take to court. would appreciate if you still have your copies if you could advise what's best to say.

    thanks
