Good luck! Our mortgage is currently £225,999 but we are not yet MFW - we are still DFW! Once the debts are paid I will get cracking on the mortgage - but this is probably over a year away :(
    Paying down the mortgage:
    At 1 October 2011: £226,000
    Currently: £224,499
    Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
    Paid £1,500
    Target remaining: 88.89%

    bit of an update...

have been told of our company going to a 4 day week (most other practices are already on 4 or 3 day ).... no choice really or lose job. bummer i know but needs must, we have been oversaving and our overpayments have been put on hold for two months.
have managed to save 2.5k at the moment on top of everything else and we are aiming for another 4k just to be safe. Should mean massive overpayments if and when we go back full time. But untill the coast is clear better safe than sorry.;)

so as it stands our mortgage is 176k no op I can only dream!.

as this is the only debt im quite happy at the moment.

will post when things get back to normal!

I have a small mortgage, started with 56,000 now at 48,000ish, I was young when I took out and couldn't do more. However we are now desperate to get into a new house and that should shoot up close to the £200,000 mark and I will be far far away from mortgage free I will be a true MFW!
