hi all, new statement of intent (well an addition).
I currently spend £200 a month of lunches. Yes £200 £10 a day on average
I work in london and that is my only treat, I dont drink, gamble, smoke etc etc so I am going to take home made food pasta etc and try and only spend £50 leaving £150 to overpay.
not sure how i will cope and im sure ill waste away
that should be a big help to the mortgage!
will keep you all informed.
ps weight 11 1/2 stone 5'8 (i think thats right for my height so dont want to loose any more, i eat like a horse!)

Good luck with the home lunches
I find I have good weeks and bad weeks with bringing lunch to work, the easiest way I find it is to have left-overs from the night before.
Hope your OH's tooth is ok.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Hey... I think your idea to take in lunches is great. You could still have a treat, maybe a Friday or just once or twice a month though. You could try mystery shopping in your lunch break at sandwich shops or fast food restaurants?!?!
I think you're going the right way about this. Identify where you spend, see if you can spend less, use that to OP. Best of luck... will be checking in on progress.
Oh and btw... our mortgage is just under 150k!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0
