rant away bookie, rant away...... and don't be nice to the vultures!!!

It is getting increasingly hard not to!
I just can't wait to get out. I don't actually care if I lose everything - just so long as I don't have to put up with this.

    That would have been nice!
I know this has to be done but I really resent these people getting the bargains. I don't mind my regulars but these are the sort of people that make Coalville the run down place it has become. 23 years ago it was a mining town and the people were not well off but courteous, hard working and appreciative. Now they are just miserable and out to get what they can without lifting a finger. (says she who will soon be joining them! :rotfl:)
  • I see where you are coming from Bookie. Have any of these people that arnt regulars commented to you at all? Gave you any advice? I guess in this climate people just want a bargain, shame its at someone elses expense

I have just found one of these, in my drawer  I think it was from my Mum's ex. Its a bit manky, but it have no ex date on it...do you think I could sell it on ebay? The face value is £100

awwwww bookie - isn't it strange.... we are all earnest DFW and bargain hunters but when the tables are turned and each bargain for someone is a loss maker for you, it seems so unfair. Makes you think about things though.

Did you ever ascertain the rent problem? i'm guessing you're not ahead after all..
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I'm not against people getting bargains Maz although I'm not very brave at haggling. It's just when they can't be pleased with the bargain they are getting without trying to wring another few pence out of me.
I'm still not sure about the rent but can't be bothered to argue. Even if I do onlt owe 1 month it brings me out on the winning side as I was only going to leave them originally anyway. I have been offered £275 for half of them but it would leave the shop in a mess and rent still owing so ....
