i still haven't heard anything re the house...
am off to look at another tonight, keeping my options open.... this is a little furhter to travel each day but is still a real saving, even taking into account extra petrol costs...

Thats cute, ok not as big but I am sure just now for you and Erin it will be fine. It has some white goods too which is a huge plus. Be fab if it has a garden too. Let us know how it goes0 -
Looks reasonable Maz - is it much cheaper/ I can't see the price but I'm thick. Does it have a garden?0

Awful night with Bea, 2 hours of broken sleep and she was delirious, screaming and having night terrors all night, neighbours must have thought murder was being committed! Left her in bed asleep and will take her to dr's if she is still burning when I get homeI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Morning.. :grouphug: for poorly peeps and those looking after them.
Nice little house Maz and a much more sensible price!
Good luck with the proposition Becky.
Really tired this morning and loads to do and I really can't be bothered  Have seen another interesting job to apply for though so need to fit that in somewhere.

£320 pcm Bookie, so much cheaper :T0 -
Thanks guys.... i'm guessing there is some kinda garden/drying area.... the photo of the stairs and doorway is from the back of the house.... even if it's not a garden to play in, it's well located for the beach/parks/cycle paths and only 5 mins from town centre. so plenty to do.
i'm optimistic about this one...
Erin wouldn't have to change schools straight away, to drive to work i have to go right past exisiting place, so would drop her off on the way and she can go to Big W's/Nana's after school each day. In terms of school catchment area she can still be listed as living in the village if needs be...
£1100 has appeared in HBOS account.. Thank goodness!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Argggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
And breathe.....
Dropped DD2 off for her secondary school induction day this morning, she was very, very nervous bless her....got home to find a letter from the education department saying they've not allocated her a school........Called them to say "yes you did, we confirmed it, she's there now having a taster day".........."no, no record of her being allocated a school for September".
Phoned the school, they're looking into whether they were expecting her or not but have assured us she'll be fine today and won't be left out.
:mad::mad::mad:
DD1 managed to lose her ipod, calculator and pencil case yesterday too.
Is it to early to start the wine?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Pour one for me Pooky.
How can people be so horrible and unkind. I just don't understand human nature.
These are people I have served for 23 years - found and provided all their unusual requests and given them a shop to enjoy with decent service.
Now all they want to do is haggle, haggle, haggle for already much reduced stock.
I know we are told to bargain but this is just obscene.
Also found out that the computer shop opposite is after the lease. I thought I knew them well and wondered why she hadn't been across to commiserate. They want the shelves to stay. I've told the landlord that they will only stay if he wipes out the rent. Even so they may well find that a few 'pegs' have gone!
Sorry - needed to rant or cry so went for the rant.0 -
