Morning all! Another day without power at work for me. I work in Dartford & we've been without power since Monday lunchtime - amazing how much you take for granted being able to stick the kettle on, ring people, send emails, frank envelopes for the post & even photocopy stuff!

Was on my course the last 2 days & meant to have my exam today BUT with no power = no computers = no exam! EDF don't think power (from Monday remember :eek:)will be back until tonight at the earliest, still around 60,000 customers (homes & businesses) without any power & around 30,000 being switched on for 3 hours off for 6 hours on a rotation basis - but we aren't even getting that!

I've ended up taking an old win into work (a light on a headband) so I can use the ladies loo - gents has a window but ladies is an internal room iyswim. Made everyone laugh as I put it on in the office to show them all :rotfl: Saves me having to use the gents which everyone else is Urg! Sorry guys but your loos always smell so [STRIKE]bad[/STRIKE] different to ours!

Anway, will try to make the most of the extra exam-less day & if I have my way I'll shut myself into a room to study some more & here's hoping we have power back tonight so I can take the exam on Thursday - each delay means more knowledge is just falling out of my ears!

Not sure about the new big snap after all - don't use MSN or have an account and not sure about creating one. Might just stick with the other comps on here while you lot are all addicted to that - might have more chance of winning those! Did loads yesterday actually, all comps ending up to 27th/28th I think, thought it would be a good way to get back into comping after a break. Not going to comp this morning need to work, but might later.

No power VG that's rubbish!

Anyway, need a cuppa - anyone want one?
