PMS, best thing is to contact the manager of the Argos store that he bought it from before promising him anything and just explain to them what happened...and see what they say! Failing that, can you not look on ebay? for similar items or so...Just see how things go but don't let it dominate your weekend ..

Y, don't give in to bully boy tactics sweetie. I might be wrong but if you bow to pressure this time, he will think he can get away with it again and may try it on another time but for more!

Ask him to (a) prove that your DD actually did the damage - she may have dropped it but did she actually BREAK it (b) produce receipt to show when he bought it and for how much. When he can do this, then ask him to leave it with you to consider. If he becomes "nasty", just ring the police and report him for harrassment.

Sorry to hear about your probs pms. It does sound like this man is being a bully, the kid shouldn't be allowed to take electrical stuff in anyway, my dd wasn't allowed.
If you do have the broken toy, try taking it back to Argos & say it was a present from someone but you don't have receipt from them. Some people throw the boxes away anyway so maybe, hopefully they will exchange it for you.

I called back doc later and he said look G dont worry to much but they know me to well:o:D as he said look you have had flu before and this no worse, yes he said has to be taken seriously but calm down.
I am taking antibiotic for lung thingy and trying to drink water yeuk lol
