  • Hi

    Thanks for all the replies.

We took DD to Debenhams last week and they measured her at 34/36AA....there was no way she was this as Im a 34 and she is smaller than me. I wasnt impressed at all by there service, but I suppose it will depend on who you get. We went to the Bromley store and I couldnt use the wheelchair all the way to the fitting rooms:mad:

After this, we went to M&S which was much easier for me wheels and she tried on 2 training bras as someone else mentioned in a 32AA and fitted well, not too tight etc. They were 2 for £10 and had a varied mixture of colours, but she stuck with white.

    Thanks again

    xx

oohh, that's a new one on me...why shouldn't they wear underwired? My DD (12) is a 34B and wears underwired and has done even at 32A...

They said she should not wear an underwired whilst still developing as they do not have the "give" in them whilst developing. the breast should be allowed to grow naturally rather than shaped by the wire.

  • marks and spencers in not too cracking for measuring and i am an 34E everybody told me to go to La Senza as they have larger sizes but that left me with a double looking bust. I find that if i need measuring i go to the bigger department stores like house of fraser or Debenhams and get measured there as they have huge ranges of different makes and for example ballet fittet better in my measured size then triumph i might be a dd in trumph and an E in ballet i then know what size fits me in what brand then i look in TK maxx or on ebay for new bras at lower sizes. I do not find that stores with their own brand like Primark and say matalan fit correctly and can cause back ache so i go for a well known make at a lower price. I struggle to find clear strap bras that do not squash me though. i was measures at Debehams and house of fraser and both said 34E marks and Spencer said 32D and with that i can not breath in M and S a comfortable fit is a 32G.
