Really it would of been better if say Vodafone got it cause O2 already got the Iphone.

I wonder through if that is a signal that O2 is now going to focus more on smart phones / web focus mobile phones.

There's rumors going round the web that O2 are getting the HTC Touch HD2 as well. Reported as sometime in October nothing confirmed officially from o2 yet

I am pleased to hear a date for the pre, Ive been waiting.However I wwnt to play with the keyboard before I decide and the O2 shop doesn't even have a dummy phone.

Also read of problems upgrading from old Palms. I will have to wait I spose.

Does anyone know if this will be limited to O2 or will I be able to buy from Carphone warehouse etc?

It's exclusive to the o2 network, but will be available from o2, Carphone Warehouse and phones4u - online and instore for all, I assume. Only 02 have announced their prices, but expect them to be mostly similar.
Kremmen - I've heard the keyboard is similar to the Centro so have a play with one of those if you can. Otherwise I wouldn't expect to see a dummy phone until 16th.
